At the end of January, VADA paid a friendly visit to NULES in Kyiv. The day before, Vencomatic Group presented the Department of Poultry, Pig and Sheep Breeding Technologies with a VAN Gent laying hen nest, and VADA employees delivered and assembled it. Now the university students will be able to learn new technologies on modern equipment, which is increasingly being chosen by domestic poultry farms.
These high-quality nests, as well as plastic and hardwood slats, are made to the highest standards to ensure bird comfort and high productivity.
In fact, layers are very comfortable in such a nest. The area of one is designed for 4-5 hens. There is a comfortable soft mat under their feet, and a net that “drives” them out when the egg is laid. The birds are happy, and this directly affects their egg production,” said engineer Oleksiy Yurchenko.
In addition, it was agreed on further cooperation between the two parties: VADA specialists with extensive practical experience will be involved in lectures and share their knowledge, and university students will be able to practice at the company's production facilities.
