Використовуємо на похилому шнеку. Там важливо виставити кут і відстань до витка спіралі. Різьба дозволяє відрегулювати це до міліметра і зафіксувати контргайкою. Датчик бачить, крутиться шнек чи ні, і рятує мотор від перегорання при заклинюванні.

Для мене головне — це герметичність. Гладкі датчики через гумку часто пропускали пил назовні. Цей різьбовий затягується гайками з шайбами так, що жодна пилинка не просочиться. Для запобігання холостого ходу шнека — кращий варіант.

Замінювали старий датчик іншої фірми, який був вкручений у муфту. Щоб не переробляти кріплення і не варити нові посадочні місця, взяли цей аналог з такою ж різьбою. Підійшов ідеально. Подобається, що він не вимагає блоку живлення, працює від мережі.
