The DOL 26 Capacitive Proximity Sensor is a small 18mm sensor that is ideal for use in small systems with limited space, such as inside poultry feeders. The sensor can, for example, help to ensure adequate distribution of feed in livestock facilities. DOL 26 is resistant to electromagnetic interference, short circuits and any overloads. The primary technological advantage of the iDOL series is the integrated NFC interface. This allows for wireless configuration of all sensor parameters via smartphone using the SmartAdjust app. You can instantly calibrate sensitivity, set delay timers, or reverse the output logic (Make/Break) without opening the housing. The absence of mechanical adjustment screws ensures a true IP69K protection rating, allowing for high-pressure hot water wash-downs.

Mounting
Installation of the iDOL 26 in its smooth Ø18 mm housing is highly hygienic and easy to adjust. The device is typically mounted using rubber grommets, glands, or specialized plastic clips. This design allows for instant immersion depth adjustment simply by sliding the sensor up or down in its mount. The two-wire SCR connection simplifies electrical installation by connecting the sensor in series with the load.
