There is a growing interest in Ukraine in equipment that can improve efficiency in the livestock business, Latifundist.com reports. Both large meat and dairy processing enterprises with a closed production cycle and small farms that raise poultry, pigs, cattle and small ruminants, as well as dairy farms, are seeking to improve the conditions for keeping animals and poultry. They are building feed mills for their existing production facilities to make their business more efficient.
In addition to silos, transportation systems for feed supply, automatic feed dispensers, and hygienic treatment systems for livestock premises are popular. According to ProAgro Group analysts, the demand for livestock equipment in Ukraine may grow by another 10-12% in 2025.
Experts note that investments in the livestock sector remain consistently high despite all the challenges of recent years. This is due to the desire of farmers and agricultural holdings to increase livestock productivity, improve veterinary conditions and reduce production costs.
There are already successful examples of projects on the market where equipment modernization has reduced feed costs by 15% and increased milk yield and live weight gain by 10-12%. VADA continues to expand its range of products for livestock farms, adapting it to the modern needs of Ukrainian farmers and businesses.
