According to the Minister of Agrarian Policy Vitaliy Koval, 125 dairy farms are currently being built or modernized in the country in the central and western regions, which compensates for the loss of capacity in the east. Thus, a geographical shift is taking place: agricultural investments are moving from the war zone to safer regions - the center and west of Ukraine.
The variety of scales and types of dairy complexes is also pleasing: from large industrial farms with thousands of cows to family farms with dozens of cows. This is seen as a good financial perspective, because the planned increase in livestock and productivity gives an economic effect, because the added value outweighs the investment.
Active construction and modernization gives reason to talk about the revival of the agricultural sector even during a military conflict.
