Starting in 2020, all Honda portable generators are equipped with the new and improved CO-MINDER carbon monoxide (CO) detection system, which helps reduce the risk of injury or death from accidental carbon monoxide poisoning. The CO-MINDER system continuously measures CO levels. It will automatically shut down the generator before the level of carbon monoxide in its vicinity reaches dangerous levels.

CO-MINDER uses a very reliable, durable sensor to detect CO levels that is fast to respond and long-lasting. If the CO level is high, the generator shuts down.
