The iDOL 27 sensor is a 30 mm capacitive proximity sensor designed to detect loose and solid materials. The DOL 27 and iDOL 27 sensors are available in SCR, PNP and NPN output versions. The sensors are suitable for use in conjunction with contactors, relays, PLCs, etc. in the agricultural and industrial sectors, in particular in enterprises for grain level measurement and effective feed level control in poultry houses, pig houses, and cowsheds. SCR output versions are available in 2-wire versions, as well as PNP and NPN in 4-wire versions. The iDOL 27 CA-P-M30-NF-CA-PNP-2 is a next-generation intelligent level sensor designed for precision control in 10–36V DC power networks. With its reinforced M30 threaded body and extended sensing zone, it serves as the benchmark for reliability in modern poultry and livestock farming systems. The sensor features a complementary PNP (NO + NC) output, offering maximum versatility for PLC integration and climate control systems.
The standout feature of the iDOL series is the integrated NFC interface, allowing for wireless configuration of all parameters via smartphone using the SmartAdjust app. Users can instantly calibrate sensitivity, set time delays, or perform a factory reset without opening the sensor housing. This ensures the maintenance of its IP69K protection rating and eliminates any risk of moisture or ammonia ingress.
Mounting
Mounting the iDOL 27 is both straightforward and highly reliable. The device features a reinforced M30 threaded housing, allowing it to be securely fixed in 30.5 mm holes using the included heavy-duty plastic nuts. It can be installed directly into the hopper wall or through specialized sealing glands and external flanges for outside mounting. The 4-wire cable design lets the operator select the appropriate output (Black for NO or White for NC) to implement either Start or Stop logic.
