Description

Cable VVGngd-1 3cl 1x185 power copper EUROPAN CABLE¶¶VVGngd (3 cl.) is a flexible power cable with copper conductors, polyvinyl chloride insulation and a non-combustible sheath with reduced smoke and gas emissions.¶Field of application¶Designed for transmission and distribution of electric power in stationary installations for rated alternating voltage of 0.66; 1 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz.¶It is used when laying in blocks, on specialized cable racks, can be used in industrial premises, switchgear and lighting devices, as well as in ordinary residential premises as electrical wiring, in conditions requiring cable bends.¶The cable with the “ngd” index is most suitable for use in places with an increased probability of fire and where special fire protection measures are required to protect people. An additional property of the cable is its non-flammability and low smoke emission when exposed to high temperatures.¶Construction¶Conductive conductors - copper, stranded (class 5 of DSTU EN 60228).¶Insulation - polyvinyl chloride plastic.¶The outer sheath is a non-combustible polyvinyl chloride plastic with reduced smoke and gas emission.¶Operation¶The cable is designed for stationary operation at ambient temperatures from -50°C to +50°C, relative humidity up to 98% at temperatures up to 35°C, including outdoor installation.¶The cable can be laid without preheating at a temperature not lower than -15°C.¶The minimum bending radius during installation must be at least 10 times the outer diameter of the single-core cable and 7.5 times the outer diameter of the stranded cable.¶The long-term permissible heating temperature of the cable cores during operation is 70°C and the maximum permissible temperature at short-circuit currents is 160°C. Permissible heating of the cable conductors in emergency mode is not more than 80°C.
